Mia joined Mon Ami Real Estate in 2026 as Chief Financial Officer, providing strategic leadership and oversight of the company’s accounting and finance functions. With over 25 years of accounting and finance experience, Mia brings a strong track record of building high-performing teams, strengthening financial infrastructure and controls, and leveraging systems and data to support growth and informed decision-making.

Prior to joining Mon Ami, Mia served as Vice President of Accounting at Shopoff Realty Investments, where she provided financial leadership across a complex portfolio of real estate investments and development projects. She led initiatives to strengthen financial reporting, construction and development accounting, debt compliance, financial systems, and operational processes, while partnering closely with executive leadership, asset management, lenders, investors, and joint venture partners. Previously, Mia served as Financial Controller at Kairos Investment Management Company, where she led financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, risk management, and systems implementation.

Mia began her career with Ernst & Young, where she spent six years in public accounting. She holds a BSc in Business Studies from Bayes Business School in London and completed an exchange year at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Outside of work, Mia enjoys wine and holds WSET Level 2, as well as sailing and golf.
